Four generations of farming. One extraordinary valley. And coffee that speaks for itself.
The Neftalí family has farmed this land for four generations. What started with sugarcane became coffee · and coffee became a calling. Every plant on this farm has been cared for by the same family hands, with the same commitment to quality that defines everything we do.
When the climate began to shift in Nariño, the family did not hesitate. They saw the opportunity and planted the first coffee trees. Today, that decision has become a legacy.
His father tends every plant by hand, walking the rows daily · knowing when to water, when to wait, and how to read the land. His mother oversees every step from cherry to cup: harvest, selection, drying, roasting, and packaging. Two people. One farm. One vision.
Sandoná sits in the Valle del Río Guaytara, in the shadow of the Galeras volcano. The volcanic soil here is rich in minerals, the air clean and cool · a microclimate that was once too cold for coffee, but has become ideal as climate patterns have shifted.
Today, Nariño holds a Protected Geographical Indication for its specialty coffee. The region produces some of the densest, most complex beans in Colombia · a result of slow maturation at extreme altitude.
Sandoná is not a new name in specialty coffee. The Expreso program · Colombia's first organized specialty coffee initiative · was born in this municipality. The country's fair trade movement also traces its roots here. Sandoná's farmers have been building quality for decades. We are their continuation.
With 1 hectare in production and plans to expand to 6 hectares, the Neftalí family is preparing to introduce one of the world's most prized varieties: Geisha. Planted at 1,900 meters in Nariño's volcanic terroir, Neftalí Geisha will be among the first of its kind from this region.
This is not just a farm · it is the beginning of a specialty coffee brand built to last. The harvest in June 2026 is the first chapter.
When demand exceeds what our farm produces, we source from trusted neighboring families in Sandoná · always with full transparency and attribution. Every bag carries the name of the farmer behind it.
We believe great coffee lifts entire communities, and we are building this brand with that principle at its core.
